Foreign investment. Paris Region is the leading region in France for inward investment by foreign companies

Foreign companies are responsible for 18% of jobs in Paris Region. The main investors in the region are from Europe and the USA, and the sectors in which foreign companies are most prevalent are industry and commerce. Jobs dependent on foreign companies are mainly located in the heart of the Greater Paris area, giving Hauts-de-Seine a particularly strong international orientation.

These findings are the result of a study produced by the Paris Region Economic Development Agency in partnership with the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Regional Centre for Commerce, Industry and Services Observation (CROCIS) and the Regional Directorate of the Paris Region National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).
