Genopole® celebrates its 10th birthday

The Paris Region Genopole® cluster specialising in biotechnologies and biotherapies is celebrating its 10th birthday this year. The Evry-based cluster intends to reinvent itself with a raft of forward-looking projects.
For example, by opening its own monoclonal antibody and therapeutic protein bioproduction unit, the Genopole® aims to create a new European centre of excellence which will enable France to keep pace with developments in the field of biomedicines as well as promote dialogue and national research and production.

Genopole® also plans to build a new hospital, scheduled for completion in 2011. It will replace the current south Paris Region hospital. At the heart of the new hospital will be a 3,000 to 4,500 sqm clinical and translational research center forming a link between fundamental research and enterprise.

Paris Region Innovation tour 2008




The 4th edition of the Paris Region Innovation tour take place in Paris (hotel Marriott Rive Gauche) on 17-18 November 2008. Paris Region Innovation tour is an international "rendez-vous" for the 800 European Clusters and their members, an exceptional meeting opportunity for european innovation clusters players, business and partnership opportunities, a catalyst for innovation potential in Europe, an for this fourth annual event, six Paris Region clusters are joining forces for the first time to present their R&D projects and technological visions.For this fourth annual event, seven Paris region clusters (Systematic, Mov’eo, Cap Digital, Advancity, Astech, Finnance Innovation and Medicen) are joining forces for the first time to present their projects around workshop.

This event is organized by Paris Development in partnership with the Paris Region Economic Development Agency, the Regional council of Paris Region, the Council of the Seine-Saint-Denis department, the Val-de-Marne Development Agency, the COMEX 93, and the council of the Seine-et-Marne department.
